About Us


Welcome to the Geauga Council for Arts & Culture.  We’re a non-profit organization dedicated to developing the arts and culture economy in our county.  We create opportunities for artists to showcase their work by hosting events and sponsoring others.  We celebrate local talent with a variety of contests and awards.  We collaborate with other organizations to ensure our passion for art reaches audiences of all ages throughout our county.

Our Mission

The Geauga County Council for Arts & Culture is a non-profit organization dedicated to the enrichment of our community through the promotion of education, access and participation in the arts.

Our Beliefs

  • People of all ages should have access to arts and cultural activities.
  • Arts and culture connect people.
  • Participation in the arts enriches lives and strengthens the culture of the community.
  • Economic opportunity and support are essential to maintain a vibrant arts community

Our Goals

  • Support and develop the arts and culture in our county.
  • Help to develop the arts and culture economy in our county.
  • Promote and collaborate in arts educational programming.
  • Promote the rich artistic resources of Geauga County to local, regional, state and national audiences and make the county an arts and culture destination.
  • Promote opportunities for awareness and participation in arts and culture.
